At Wasafiri Community Outreach, Inc., ministries are the heart of our service. Each ministry provides a unique opportunity for members to use their God-given gifts in building a stronger faith community and serving others. Whether you’re called to worship, mentorship, hospitality, or technology, there is a place for you here.

Leading with Reverence and Unity
The Liturgical Ministry oversees the planning and execution of all worship services. From scripture readings to altar preparation and Mass coordination, this ministry ensures that every service is reverent, organized, and reflective of Catholic tradition.
If you feel called to serve in sacred spaces, this is your home.

  • Coordinates Sunday Mass and special liturgies
  • Trains and schedules readers, altar servers, and Eucharistic ministers
  • Collaborates with Jumuiyas and the choir on service planning

Praising Through Song
Our choir brings soul, spirit, and energy to every service. Blending traditional hymns with African rhythms and Swahili melodies, the Choir Ministry uplifts the community in praise and unites us through joyful worship.

We believe in nurturing strong, faithful leaders from a young age. Our Youth Ministry engages children and teens through Bible study, mentorship, creative expression, and service projects.

This tech-savvy ministry keeps Wasafiri connected and visible both in-person and online. From running livestreams to managing the website and social media, the IT & Media team ensures a digital home for our growing community.

The Hospitality Ministry ensures that everyone feels seen, loved, and included—from first-time visitors to long-time members. This team coordinates meals, events, and social gatherings with grace and warmth.

The Wasafiri Catholic Women Association (CWA) empowers women to grow spiritually, support one another, and take active roles in serving the Church and the wider community. Through charitable works, cultural engagement, and nurturing family values, the CWA inspires

The Wasafiri  Men group brings together men of faith to grow spiritually, lead by example, and serve the Church and community. Guided by Catholic values, the WMG
